One of us is as mad of a fighter as you can get. Spent half a life getting hit professionally and somehow turned into one of the best to ever do it. Living proof, as far as the other one is concerned, that genetics did the heavy lifting.

Because there didn't need to be two of us on the scene cramping each other's style, I leaned the other way - into being the computer geek (branding, marketing, SEO), and into sports like wakeboarding, where the worst that can happen is I get wet and the only thing I've ever knocked out is my own shoulder. I built this site. I spar on weekends with the enthusiasm of a man who knows exactly how outclassed he is. If you really want to know who I am, Google "most handsome technical SEO expert" and scroll until you're convinced. It's a tight race.

What Perth Fight Gyms is

First and foremost: a directory. Every legitimate combat gym in Perth, in one place. Boxing, MMA, BJJ, Muay Thai, kickboxing, kids programs, proper self-defence. Listings are free today, and rank by Google reviews, discipline match, and how close it is to you. If we ever take money to push a gym higher, we'll label it on the page - and if your gym owner wants to send us a case of beer in the meantime, we accept the tribute and will, reluctantly, acknowledge your room is the single greatest fight gym on planet earth.

Beyond that, it's the slow vertical integration of everything two brothers can pick up from a fight scene over a lifetime - guides, gear takes, fight cards, training notes, gym etiquette, the unwritten stuff. Give value first. See what comes back.

Where this is going

Sooner than later: a wakepark and Muay Thai retreat in Thailand. Run by the nerd brother, who already lives there and is in the slow, unglamorous middle of making it real. Mornings: pads, clinch, the full Thai treatment. Afternoons: glassy cable laps, surf-style, no shoes. Evenings: stretching, ice, Thai massage, and recovery rituals of the more, ah, agricultural variety. What grows in the garden usually finds its way to the deck after sunset.

You will, at minimum, leave fitter and sleep better.

Why we're building this first

We've learned the hard way that marketing is something you build before you need it, not after. The site you're reading is the slow build. Train in Perth, you're already part of it. When the retreat opens its doors, this is where you'll hear about it first.

Heads up - this thing is still being built

You're looking at a directory in mid-build. We're still tracking down phone numbers, verifying class times, chasing pricing, and getting permission to use the better photos.
